A walkthrough is written by someone who has played the game, and nobody has. So this page is honest about what it is: the frame the walkthrough will go into, and the facts that are already fixed.
What is confirmed about the story
- Two protagonists. Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, a pair rather than a choice — Rockstar has described a criminal conspiracy across the state that pulls both of them in, and confirmed that you play as either.
- The state of Leonida. Six regions, from Vice City down through the Keys and up to Mount Kalaga, all named by Rockstar. The map already charts more than 1,700 places across them.
- The cast. Six named supporting characters so far, from Cal Hampton to Raul Bautista, each with a page of their own. The cast guide is the overview.
- Single-player at launch. No online mode ships on 19 November, so the walkthrough is the whole game.
- Switching. How and when the game hands you from one protagonist to the other is worked through here, from what the trailers and the Extended Look showed.
What is not confirmed is everything a walkthrough is made of: the mission count, the order, the structure of the ending, the playtime. Rockstar has published none of it.

Every mission and every heist on this site is a record in the database, and each record carries a guide with the same shape:

From launch, the top of this page stays a plain index — chapter, mission name, difficulty — and anything about what happens in a mission sits inside that mission's own guide, below a line that says so. If you want to play blind, the index is safe and the guides are not.
Before launch
There is no preparation a walkthrough can give you for a game nobody has played. Two things are genuinely useful now: learn the map, because Leonida is where every mission happens, and read who the cast are, because the conspiracy runs through them.
